Job Description

As a Common Data Environment (CDE) Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the projects" Common Data Environment within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is structured effectively based on engineering and site requirements. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors worldwide to facilitate the efficient and quality-assured flow of information through the CDE. You will oversee the production, storage, sharing, and utilization of digital content within ACC, managing data related to construction projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your main responsibilities will involve: - Ensuring that the projects" Common Data Environment (CDE), ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), is structured in a clear and compelling manner according to engineering and site requirements. - Organizing project data, files, and documents within the ACC. - Enforcing established communication, delivery, and publishing processes among project members within the ACC. - Verifying that engineering deliveries in ACC adhere to agreed formats and timelines. - Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries. - Managing access to the project ACC and its content, including granting and revoking access for project members as necessary. - Assisting new project members in understanding ACC processes during onboarding. - Ensuring electronic information transfer and the integrity of the ACC. - Serving as the primary point of contact for ACC-related issues among construction managers, subcontractors, owners, design teams, and other stakeholders. - Providing periodic progress reports on document status and ACC information projects as required by Management. - Liaising with clients and other consultants on BIM standards/processes and documents. - Ensuring compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines while embodying Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. To be successful in this role, you should have a background that includes: - A degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 1 to 3 years of work experience. - Proficiency in BIM Processes Nomenclature convention for deliverables and processes. - Knowledge of CDEs such as ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), BIM360, Xecm, and Project Wise. - Experience in implementing various interconnecting Electronic Data Management Systems. - Understanding of inter-disciplinary co-ordination workflows. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
