Job Summary

The Billing Executive is responsible for preparing, verifying, and processing client bills related to mechanical construction works such as piping fabrication, erection, equipment installation, and maintenance projects. The role involves coordination with site engineers, planning, and accounts to ensure accurate and timely billing as per contract terms.

Key Responsibilities Billing & Invoicing

• Prepare RA Bills / Running Account Bills as per work progress
• Prepare client invoices for fabrication, erection, and supply works
• Check measurements, BOQ, and approved drawings before billing
• Ensure billing as per contract, LOA, WO, and rate analysis

Measurement & Documentation

• Coordinate with site engineers for measurement sheets
• Verify MB (Measurement Book), JMR, and work completion reports
• Maintain billing files with:
• Work orders
• Approved BOQ
• Measurement sheets
• Client approvals

Client Coordination

• Submit bills to clients and follow up for certification
• Handle billing-related queries and clarifications
• Coordinate for bill certification & payment release

Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, and Stores for supporting documents
• Support Accounts team for GST, debit notes, and reconciliation
• Assist in monthly billing reports and MIS

Compliance & Records

• Ensure billing compliance with GST rules
• Maintain proper billing records for audit purposes
• Track billed vs unbilled quantities and values

Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of Mechanical Construction Billing
• Understanding of piping, fabrication, erection, and structural works
• Familiar with BOQ, RA Bills, MB, JMR
• Basic knowledge of GST & invoicing rules
• Good coordination and communication skills

Software Knowledge

• MS Excel (advanced preferred)
• ERP / Tally (basic knowledge)
• AutoCAD (measurement understanding – optional)

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / Diploma / Any Graduate
• Experience: 2–5 years in mechanical construction billing preferred

Preferred Experience

• Mechanical piping fabrication & erection projects
• Industrial plants, refineries, power plants, or infrastructure projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
