Description
The Dev/L3 Engineer is an experienced and detail-oriented individual capable of integrating product knowledge, research, and testing to address complex questions about product behavior and provide end-to-end solutions to permanently resolve issues. You will collaborate with customer teams and other members to help them understand how to achieve desired outcomes using the existing applications. Your responsibilities could range from creating FAQs and knowledge base articles to coding end-to-end solutions for reported issues. Additionally, you will liaise with global stakeholders and vendors to deliver technology solutions as part of the yearly work plan. You should be able to comprehend functional requirements and expectations of various stakeholders and develop an appropriate plan of action. The role also involves working with product vendors and leading upgrades when necessary. You will need to learn the applications under the portfolio quickly, understand business requirements, manage code changes, support issue investigation and resolution, execute service requests, and ensure best practices implementation based on industry standards. Collaboration with architects and platform owners to support program deployment, as well as training document localization and maintenance documentation preparation and delivery, are also part of the responsibilities. Process improvements based on application capability and industry best practices should be suggested. The ideal candidate should have a total of 6+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in software development focusing on Angular, .NET Core, Rest API, MS SQL Server, and SSIS. Experience in platform migration of applications, L3, non-functional testing, and leading projects to successful conclusions is advantageous. Strong customer focus, cross-functional team experience, self-starting attitude, organization skills, resolution management, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The candidate should possess strong communication abilities to convey potential issues and risks across different verticals, maintain traceability and transparency, and make appropriate and timely decisions based on available information. Educational qualifications include a B.E./B. Tech./Master's degree in computer science or equivalent. Certifications in C#/.NET and ITIL are beneficial.
