As an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst at Citigroup, your role involves participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your primary objective is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, and model development - Establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs - Monitor and control all phases of development process including analysis, design, testing, and implementation - Provide user and operational support on applications to business users - Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes, and industry standards - Recommend and develop security measures for successful system design and functionality - Consult with users/clients and technology groups, recommend advanced programming solutions, and assist in system installation - Ensure essential procedures are followed and define operating standards and processes - Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgment - Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members - Assess risks in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup and its assets by ensuring compliance with laws and regulations **Qualifications:** - 8-12 years of relevant experience - Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications - BigData, Pyspark, Hive design, development, implementation experience - Experience in managing and implementing successful projects - Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements This job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
