Position: Big Data Tester Experience: 5-7 Years Main location: Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune Position ID:J0425-0196 Employment Type: Full Time Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 1 : Experience in Testing large data set which includes large extracts, Hive to Hive etc. 2 : Good knowledge of different Testing methodologies, concepts 3 : Experience in debugging application log files 4 : Experience in writing SQL queries to perform data analysis as part of QA test cases 5 : Experience with HDFS, Linux Commands 6 : Nice to have experience in automation, writing test cases using Python Must-Have Skills: Big Data, Cloudera Hadoop Data, Base, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Hbase and/or Map/Reduce Big Data (Hive, Spark,Impala,MapReduce,Hbase, Pig), SQL Solid understanding of End to End data warehousing systems from Data modelling to Reporting Excellent hands-on experience with Bigdata, informatica. Hands-on experience on at least one of the Scripting languages Solid experience in writing SQL queries Good-to-Have Skills: Java, Linux, Apache, Perl/Python/PHP, Chef, Puppet Good understanding in BI/DW Concepts Skills: ETL Hadoop Hive MS SQL Server Python Big Data
