Role Overview

We are hiring Big Data Engineers who can build, optimize, and scale data pipelines across modern cloud environments. This role involves working closely with software developers, data architects, analysts, and data scientists to ensure seamless data delivery and high-quality solutions.

Must-Have Skills

Scala / Java / React

Scala is mandatory
Spark & Spark Streaming
(RDD, DataFrames, tuning, troubleshooting)
Strong SQL
(Complex queries, real-world problem-solving)
Python
Any Cloud Platform (AWS preferred) ETL/ELT, Data Lake, Data Streaming
Kafka / Kinesis / Any Streaming Services
Hive
CI/CD for ETL pipeline deployment
Data Modeling
Data Warehousing (Snowflake preferred)

Good-to-Have Skills

Git or similar version control
Microservices knowledge
Airflow or similar orchestration tools

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines
Work across batch and event-driven architectures
Apply strong functional programming skills in Scala
Implement data quality, performance optimization, and scalable data solutions
Re-platform on-prem data warehouses to cloud platforms
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions

Experience Required

3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Data EngineeringRole & responsibilities
