Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust big data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Spark.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Optimize existing data processing systems for performance and scalability.
• Work with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, and AWS to deploy and manage big data applications.
• Utilize SQL and Scala for data manipulation and analysis.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in big data and data engineering.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of

  5 to 10 years

  of experience in big data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Spark.
• Experience with cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Scala for data processing and analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
