We are lookingfor an Engineer with hands-on Big Data experience who will work on the internaland customer-based projects for Bridgenext, someone who cares about the quality ofthe code and who is passionate about providing the best solution to meet theclient s needs and anticipates their future needs based on an understanding ofthe market. Must HaveSkills: 3-4 years of overall experience Strong programming experience with Python/Java 3+ Years of experience with distributed systems and frameworks, particularly Spark Experience with batch data processing. Streaming data processing is plus Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow workflow orchestration Proficiency in at least one RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) Experience in Snowflake modelling roles, schema, databases Experience with data pipeline migration from on-premises to cloud platforms Experience with Cloud providers, preferably AWS (Services S3, EMR, Glue, and EC2) Experience with Astronomer or managing Airflow at scale Experience with DBT is a plus. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Good to have experience with infrastructure-as-a-code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible Professional Skills: Solid written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Strong team and individual player Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high-quality results Self-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention Demonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issues
