Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineers to understand requirements and design end-to-end Big Data solutions that meet business needs.2. Architecture Development: Develop and maintain the architectural vision and strategy for Big Data projects, including data acquisition, storage, processing, and analytics.3. Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend new and emerging Big Data technologies, tools, and platforms to ensure our architecture remains state-of-the-art.4. Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance standards, data quality practices, and compliance with data privacy regulations.5. Data Integration: Design and implement data integration solutions, including ETL processes and data pipelines, to ingest and process large volumes of data from diverse sources.6. Scalability and Performance: Optimize Big Data solutions for scalability, performance, and fault tolerance, ensuring they can handle growing data volumes and user loads.7. Security: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data within the Big Data ecosystem.8. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and best practices guides.
