POSITION SUMMARY To Analyse existing systems, processes, identify value-added and non-value-added activities and improve the systems and processes to deliver the highest possible efficiency. Initiate and be involved in productivity improvement projects. RESPONSIBILITIES Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency in all processes. Establish time standards through Time & Motion study techniques. Determine the manpower requirements for various levels of production in the plant. Be part of CFT to drive the project within the target time. Capacity planning and analysis to achieve maximum utilisation of resources. Analyse the layout, workstation, and process flow chart for the efficient utilisation of all resources. Utilise lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements. Create and maintain required documentation for manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilisation studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing. SKILL-SET: Knowledge of Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering and Lean manufacturing principles. Hands-on experience in time study, process improvement, preparing the layout. Proficiency with analytical tools. Ability to develop the Jigs and Fixtures as per the process requirements. Experience with MS Office, Auto CAD and Solid Edge software Awareness on Industry 4.0 knowledge, Lean Manufacturing principles QUALIFICATION : Bachelors degree in industrial engineering or mechanical Engineering. Roles and Responsibilities Attend the calls of service engineers and customers on phone or through email, raise real time CASE in ERP based on the calls received, provide necessary support to resolve the problems and close the CASE within the agreed timeline. Generate reports on provided solutions and resolve the complaints on a timely basis. Understand thoroughly the problems reported by the customers and ensure proper documentation and procedures of the same. Visit customer place to attend complaints and provide appropriate solutions to achieve good customer satisfaction and suggest suitable spare parts to the customers ensuring proper working of the wood processing machines. Working in shifts to cover the global customers working hours. Analyse the customer complaints received and provide inputs for the stakeholders to prevent the problems reported on timely basis. Visit the site and provide necessary solution in case of inability to resolve the same over call. Close the assigned calls and ensure coordination with the customers for part identification, spares offer, spares dispatch and fix the problem to complete the call in an efficient manner. Coordinate and work closely with inter departments to resolve the problems and improve the product quality and documentation.
