BI Tableau Developer

In this role as a developer, you will be responsible for creating scalable solutions focused on Power BI and Tableau Dashboard Development. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing Power BI reports and effective Tableau dashboards by gathering and translating end user requirements. - Optimizing Microsoft Power BI and Tableau dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization. - Turning large amounts of raw data into actionable information. - Overseeing the development process of the Product, POC, and demo versions. - Maintaining design standards on all dashboards. - Setting up security on all dashboards to ensure data compliance. - Performing optimization of database queries. - Bringing new technologies and ideas to the team. - Being part of our growing BI Practice. For Tableau Dashboard Development, you should have: - Proven experience in developing and working with Tableau driven dashboards and analytics. - Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing workbook performance. - Interpreting technical or dashboard structures and translating complex business requirements into technical specifications. - Working knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture. - Advanced Tableau development skills. - High-level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.). - Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions. - Solid understanding of SQL, relational database management systems, data modeling, and normalization. - Strong communication skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy. For Power BI, you should have: - Hands-on experience in Microsoft BI, advanced analytics, and SQL Server Reporting Services. - Thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration, and advanced GUI development in Power BI. - Excellent skills in writing DAX scripts. - Creating row-level security with Power BI. - Proficient in embedding Power BI into web-based applications. - Familiarity with Power BI custom add-on development and deployment. - Experience in connecting Power BI with on-premise and cloud computing platforms. - Good knowledge of data warehousing. - Ability to provide optimized SQL scripts for complex scenarios. - Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Systems and Tools (Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services). - Understanding of data quality processes, data cleansing, and data transformation. - Strong communication skills with strong business analyst skills. - Hands-on experience in SSIS, SSRS, SSAS is a plus.,
