Role Overview: You are sought after to join the team as a skilled BI Engineer specializing in Snowflake and Tableau. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise in SQL, ETL, and data visualization, as well as having a strong grasp of data modeling and data warehouse migration. The position demands exceptional self-organization skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain BI solutions with Tableau for data visualization and reporting. - Design and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure efficient data processing. - Manage ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading, including handling JSON and XML formats. - Lead data warehouse migration projects, particularly those originating from the Microsoft SQL Server stack. - Implement and uphold data models for both relational databases (RDBMS) and data warehouses (DWH). - Utilize Snowflake for data storage, processing, and analytics. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making. - Automate workflows using Python, Kafka, and Jenkins where relevant. Required Skills: - Extensive experience in SQL, encompassing stored procedures and performance tuning. - Proficiency in Tableau with a track record of creating interactive dashboards. - Hands-on involvement in ETL processes, including handling JSON & XML formats. - Demonstrated experience in DWH migration, preferably from Microsoft SQL Server. - Expertise in data modeling for both RDBMS and DWH. - Mandatory knowledge of Snowflake, including its architecture, optimization, and best practices. - Strong self-organization skills and the capacity to work independently. Nice to Have Skills: - Familiarity with Python, Kafka, and Jenkins for automation and data pipelines. - Exposure to Java, GitHub, Docker, and AWS Cloud.
