BI Engineer

Role Overview: At SOTI, you will be responsible for developing interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the needs of various business units. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that drive business insights. Additionally, you will be involved in data modeling, integration, documentation, performance monitoring, and providing training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards - Develop and maintain data models to support business requirements - Integrate data from various sources into SQL Server and Azure Synapse - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, reports, dashboards, and processes - Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions - Provide support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices Qualifications Required: - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and research skills - Ability to multitask and interact with a diverse internal user/customer base - 3-5 years of experience in SQL using SQL Server, Azure Synapse Analytics - 2-3 years of experience with Power BI report development and deployment - Experience in BI development and data analysis - Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts and ETL tools - Knowledge of Cloud architecture, NoSQL databases, and R/Python is a plus - Experience in building data pipelines to integrate with unstructured data sources is a plus - Sales/Marketing business background is a plus - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills If you are looking to contribute your ideas and skills to a dynamic work environment, apply at SOTI today.,
