BI Engineer

Role Overview: At SOTI, you will be responsible for developing and deploying interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the needs of various business units. Your role will involve data modeling, data integration, collaboration with stakeholders, documentation, performance monitoring, and providing training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards - Develop and maintain data models to support business requirements - Integrate data from various sources into SQL Server and Azure Synapse - Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, reports, dashboards, and processes - Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions - Provide support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices Qualifications Required: - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and research skills - Must have 3-5 years of experience in SQL using SQL Server, Azure Synapse Analytics - Must have 2-3 years of experience with Power BI report development and deployment - Experience in BI development and data analysis - Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts and ETL tools - Knowledge of Cloud architecture, NoSQL databases, and R/Python is a plus - Experience in building data pipelines to integrate with unstructured data sources is a plus - Sales/Marketing business background is a plus - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills If you are looking to contribute your ideas and expertise in a dynamic environment, consider applying at SOTI today.,
