Roles:Ensure Proposal & Design Engineering phase is completed effectively and efficiently following order confirmation, ensuring all engineering requirements are met and executed according to the project schedule. Thermal design of Heat Transfer equipment's, Heat exchanger selection based on operating fluid such as Liquid / Liquid , liquid /Gas , Gas/ gas , condensing medium , boiling medium, etc.. Thermal design of Fired heater or exchanger, combustion calculations, Burner Management system, Fuel oil/ fuel Gas train design, Flues Draft calculation, Chimney or stack sizing , Blowe sizing and selection etc.. Lead & preparation and review of various specification & codes, local regulations, detailed engineering drawings, Client coordination , technical discussion , Rise TQ, Provided response to client comments, get approval from Client/ PMC etc.. Provided Interdisciplinary engineering input for respective engineering, design and manufacturing , support for performance test. Prepare RFQ & Data sheets for bought outs like heating elements , burners, blowers, control valves , technical evaluation , approval of vendor design and drawings etc... Ensuring that they align with project requirements and are prepared utilizing available resources. Coordinate with other teams and departments to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with technical specifications. Responsibilities Responsible for design and analysis of Heat Exchanger like Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger ( TEMA & API 660), Air Cooled Heat Exchanger (API 661) and Jacketed Pipe Heat Exchanger using HTRI in accordance with Design Basis. Preparation of process Design basis , Technical specification, BOQ for Heat exchanger for standard and non standard exchanger. Perform detailed sizing calculations for 2-Phase and 3-Phase Separators (API 12J), considering both Horizontal and Vertical configurations. Design and optimize Knock-Out Drums, ensuring they effectively separate liquid and gas phases, preventing downstream system issues. Ensure that sizing and design meet the required safety and operational performance standards. Development of BFD, PFD and P&ID for the Separator Packages and New Product Development. Work closely with the drafting team to ensure these diagrams are clear and meet client and regulatory requirements. Conduct a thorough review of Orientation & Elevation Drawings, Thermal Datasheets, Mechanical Datasheets, and Specifications provided by clients. Identify any discrepancies, missing information, or inconsistencies within the documents and communicate these issues effectively to the client.Send queries and seek clarifications from clients as necessary to ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and in line with the projects needs. Review of Orientation & Elevation Drawings, Thermal Datasheets, Mechanical Datasheets, and Specifications provided by clients, along with sending queries or seeking clarifications as needed." Performing simulation using Aspen Hysys. Performing Process calculations like line sizing, pump hydraulics and Valve selection. Preparing / Checking of Datasheets & Supporting procurement team. Review of Sub-vendor drawing & documents for technical compliance. Providing input to drafting team and guiding them in preparing PFD & P&ID. Attending inter discipline meetings & review with client. Monitoring and meeting the project schedules on submission of Process Deliverables.
