Job Title: Campus In-Charge Location: Vadodara Reporting to: Bellwether Head Office 1. Role Summary The Campus In-Charge is the Bellwether HO’s on-site representative, responsible for driving the turnaround of the school through implementing Bellwether’s strategic, operational, academic, and marketing support services. This person will act as the single point of accountability for campus execution, coordination, and performance. Their goal is to ensure that Bellwether’s framework is applied effectively on the ground, leading to improved admissions, enhanced brand perception, and sustainable operations. 2. Key Responsibilities a) Strategic & Operational Implementation Translate Bellwether’s turnaround strategy into concrete action plans for the campus. Coordinate and oversee implementation of all Bellwether support services, including academic enhancement, admission drives, brand building, and operational best practices. Monitor and report on progress of key metrics (e.g. admissions numbers, enrollment growth, retention rates, academic KPIs, brand perception metrics). Identify and resolve bottlenecks in implementation quickly and escalate issues as needed to Bellwether HO. b) Academic Leadership & Quality Assurance Work closely with school leadership to ensure that Bellwether’s academic programs, teaching pedagogy, curriculum enhancements, and teacher training initiatives are adopted and maintained with fidelity. c) Admissions & Branding Lead and execute admission-support strategies designed by Bellwether, such as open days, parent engagement events, school tours, community outreach, and digital marketing campaigns. Liaise with the admissions team and track leads, conversions, and funnel metrics. Ensure follow-up protocols are implemented and leads are converted as planned. Maintain and enhance the school brand in the local community under Bellwether’s brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging, signage, outreach materials, and stakeholder communications. d) Stakeholder Management Act as the primary point of contact between Bellwether HO and on-site staff, and local community stakeholders. Facilitate regular updates, feedback loops, and meetings with staff, parents, and the Bellwether HO team. Proactively engage parents and community members, gather feedback, and ensure Bellwether’s services meet expectations and improve satisfaction. e) Administration and Reporting Oversee daily campus operations in coordination with school leadership—with a focus on ensuring that Bellwether’s recommended processes, timelines, and quality standards are followed. Maintain accurate and timely records of admissions, student attendance, teacher performance metrics, event outcomes, and other relevant operational data. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to Bellwether HO, highlighting progress, challenges, impact metrics, and recommendations for course correction. f) Team Coordination & Capacity Building Coordinate with existing school leadership to ensure campus staff are trained and supported in implementing Bellwether’s processes and practices. 3. Qualifications & Skills Essential: Graduate Minimum 3–5 years of experience in school operations, admissions, or related administrative roles. Experience in turnaround or growth-focused school environments is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with community stakeholders. Problem-solving attitude, initiative, and ability to work independently while aligning with remote oversight (HO). Comfortable using technology and digital tools for reporting, communication, and admissions tracking. Desirable: Experience in private or premium K-12 schools Familiarity with school marketing, branding, parent outreach, or event management. Demonstrated ability to lead change or improvement initiatives on campus. 4. Personal Attributes Proactive, self-driven, and hands-on. High integrity and accountability; committed to delivering results. Empathetic and collaborative, with a bias for positive change. Comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders and navigating complex school dynamics. 6. Additional Notes The person will be on Bellwether payroll, but will collaborate closely with the school leadership (principal, management) and staff. This role may require occasional travel (e.g. for events, outreach, training, or reporting to HO) depending on Bellwether’s operations. This is a full-time on-site role, and ownership of campus execution is expected—while direction comes from Bellwether HO, the Campus In-Charge must drive day-to-day delivery independently.
