Position Title: Behaviour Therapist / ABA Therapist
Location: Sattvanubhava – Child Therapy & Development Centre, Solapur
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Salary Range (Recommended): ₹9,000 – ₹13,000 depending on qualification & training

⭐ Role Purpose

To deliver structured behavioural intervention, early intervention programs, and social–emotional skill-building for children with Autism, ADHD-related concerns, challenging behaviours, and general behavioural delays.

Excellent fit for someone who enjoys working in structured therapy models, behaviour modification, and family training.

Key Responsibilities1. Behaviour Assessment

• Collect baseline observations of behaviours
• Conduct ABC (Antecedent–Behaviour–Consequence) analysis
• Assess social communication, attention, and receptive behaviours
• Use basic assessment checklists
• Document behavioural triggers appropriately

2. Therapy Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 behavioural therapy sessions
• Implement structured goals based on behaviour plan
• Work on:
• Attention & sitting tolerance
• Joint attention & eye contact
• Receptive & expressive behaviours
• Social turn-taking
• Following instructions
• Compliance training
• Transition training
• Reduction of tantrums, aggression, rigidity
• Engage in structured play-based reinforcement
• Use token economy, planned ignoring, visual scheduling

3. ABA-Based Workflows (as trained and supervised)

Therapist will implement behaviour plan elements like:
✔ Prompting & fading✔ Reinforcement schedules✔ Replacement behaviour training✔ Task analysis✔ Skill chaining✔ Response shaping✔ Functional communication training

They will receive guidance and training on all methods.

4. Documentation

• Maintain daily session notes
• Update weekly improvement sheet
• Document behaviour patterns
• Track goal mastery
• Maintain attendance & communication logs

5. Parent Support

• Educate parents on home reinforcement
• Teach behaviour response techniques
• Explain progress realistically
• Maintain professional boundaries
• Conduct short once-weekly parent check-ins

6. Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with Occupational Therapy
• Work jointly with Special Educator & Psychologist
• Participate in case discussions
• Align home programs with multi-therapy goals

Work Schedule

Monday to Saturday
10:30 AM – 6:30 PMSession structure based on child schedules.
