As a Dental Consultant, your responsibilities include managing and conducting Executive Health Check-up (EHC) packages for patients on a daily basis alongside the Director and consultants. You will be performing routine dental procedures such as oral prophylaxis, extractions, restorations, root canals, crown and bridge, and more, in line with established clinical privileges. Prescribing medications for dental ailments and analyzing records and test results to diagnose dental diseases are also part of your duties. Obtaining consent from patients or their relatives for dental procedures, following infection control protocols, and preparing discharge summaries as advised by primary consultants are essential tasks in this role. You will assist in various dental procedures, provide post-operative instructions, and educate patients on oral health practices. Active participation in dental check-up camps, communication with staff members, and monitoring patients" conditions are also key responsibilities. Maintaining accurate documentation in the Hospital Information System, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality, and following evidence-based practices for patient safety are critical aspects of your role. Collaborating with other departments, participating in meetings and committees, and being available for emergency care and disaster situations are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will oversee the discharge process, which includes confirming discharge, clearance of investigations, and completion of discharge summaries. Educationally, you should hold a BDS degree, with a desirable qualification of MDS. Relevant experience of 1-5 years post-graduation is necessary for this position. Any additional certifications required should also be included in your qualifications.
