JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Imports(Purchasing)_OrderManagment_Customer Service Executive / Manager. REPORTS TO: National Sales Manager SCOPE OF POSITION: Our Company is Global Distributors of Electronic Components. We have Offices in India and Singapore and Warehouses in Singapore, HK and India. Our customers are based in India and our Suppliers are based in Singapore/ HK/ China / UK / USA and European Countries . We are having an opening for the the position of Customer Service and Order Management Executive to be based in Bangalore. This individual is responsible for managing the Supply Chain and Operation of the Import Logistics, Customer Service & Order Management functions of allocated International Suppliers and allocated customers. This will involve Post Sales Customer Service Management like SO Creation, PO Placements ,Shipment Management, Coordination with FF & Transporters for Incoming & outgoing goods, Payment follow ups . OBJECTIVES: Manage the process of Purchasing Goods from Foreign Supplier Manage the Import Logistics functions of allocated customers and Suppliers Manage the process for Order Management for Customers. Manage Customer Service functions of allocated customers and Suppliers. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Order Management SO Creation. PO Creation and PO placement on Suppliers. Delivery Follow up and Record in ERP System. Follow up and expedite deliveries as per customers requirements. Coordination with Accounts and Finance for Supplier payments. Coordinate with Accounts team for raising customer Invoices. Customer Portal Management for selected Customers for APO. Import Logistics Coordination with Suppliers Shipping Department (International Location) for Shipment of Goods to customers. Liaise with customer FF for pick-up of goods in International Location. Create and manage documentation for Imports and Exports of goods from international location. Switch BL for Drop shipments and trans-shipments. Develop and maintain Relationships with FF for efficient shipment handling. Coordinate with Warehouse for GRN / Out bound Shipment / Inbound Shipment Information. Coordinate with customers shipping department for any documentation requirements for GRN at customers Site. Coordinate with Warehouse for supporting special requests from customer on Labels / Special Coding / Special Packing etc. Customer Service Manage communication with customer on PO Acknowledgement, Delivery Dates, Proforma Invoice etc. Payment Follow ups and AR reconciliation of customers and suppliers with help of Accounts team. Handling Customer requests on Expedites. Handling customer Service Requests on RMA or any other post sales issues with customers. Communicate with Suppliers on Specific Requests from customers on Part Ordering. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Earlier Experience in Similar Role (Import Purchase + Order Management + Import Logistics) in a Professional Indian or MNC organization. Good & Pleasant Communication skills (English , Hindi and Kannada ) 4-8 years of Work Experience in Similar Operations. Time management, organizational and negotiation skills. PC proficient. Team Player. Quick Learner. COMPENSATION: Annual Fixed Salary based on Experience. Bonus / Incentives based on the overall Company performance as and when declared by the management.
