BAS Service Support Programmer

As a Service Support Programmer at ModernControls, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing incoming alarms, calls, and emails from field technicians and customers. Your role will involve diagnosing and reporting mechanical or control issues, providing solutions to the field team and customers, and working closely with customers and service staff on a daily basis. This position is based in the New Castle, DE office. - Help maintain a positive workplace environment by embodying the company culture in your daily actions. - Display a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers and coworkers. - Conduct software and hardware preventative maintenance checks on control systems. - Develop custom BAS control algorithms when required. - Make modifications and additions to site graphics as needed. - Act as the primary technical contact for customers and fellow technicians. - Troubleshoot software and hardware discrepancies in current and legacy systems. - Verify equipment operation related to incoming alarms through the Modern Monitoring system. - Assist in document management and organization for customers. - Expand your knowledge of company standards, products, and industry-relevant information. - Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area. - Continuously identify opportunities to adjust or improve operations. - Physical Standards: Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time. Must have vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. - Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role. - Knowledge of HVAC Systems. - Familiarity with Facility Explorer (FX) and CCT programming. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with articulate professionalism and courtesy. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. - Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime. - N4 and AX certifications are a plus.,
