A bartender mixes, prepares, and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, manages inventory and supplies, operates a point-of-sale (POS) system, handles payments, maintains a clean and organized bar, and provides excellent customer service to create a positive guest experience. Bartenders also check customer IDs to verify legal drinking age, monitor for intoxication, and must follow all relevant health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations
