Bar waiter

A bar waiter, also known as a bar server, is responsible for providing excellent customer service while serving drinks and food to patrons in a bar or lounge setting. They must be skilled in taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Additionally, bar waiters often assist with inventory management, preparing drinks and light snacks, and ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws.

• Customer Service: Greeting guests, taking orders, and providing recommendations on drinks and food.
• Order Taking and Payment Processing: Using point-of-sale (POS) systems to record orders and process payments (cash and credit cards).
• Drinks and Food Preparation: Assisting with preparing drinks and light food items.
• Bar Maintenance: Ensuring the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and organized, including cleaning up spills and maintaining glassware.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory counts.
• Upselling and Promotions: Promoting specials and upselling additional items.
• Age Verification: Checking customer identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
• Closing Duties: Assisting with closing procedures, including restocking and cleaning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
