The role will report to the Tech Services AI Technical Crew Lead and collaborate with stakeholders across various functions within the bank, especially with GOTO.
We are seeking an AI Engineer who will:
identify & Prioritize Use Cases: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize key use cases from all functions within the bank
define Hypotheses: Work with stakeholders to formulate hypotheses and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
experiment & Validate: Conduct experiments in short, high-frequency iterations to validate these hypotheses
roll Out & Release: Once the value has been demonstrated, bring ideas to life by deploying, releasing, and making them accessible to the intended personas.
As an AI Engineer, you will contribute to the development and deployment of innovative AI-driven solutions that enhance UBS operations and tooling. This role is perfect for a technologist passionate about coding, AI, and exploring the latest advancements in LLMs (Large Language Models) and Generative AI (GenAI). Your work will focus on reducing human error, improving efficiency, and delivering impactful tools for employees and clients.
Your expertise
We are looking for a candidate with:
a university degree in an analytical field such as engineering, computer science, or information technology
technical skills: General knowledge in software engineering/development, ideally with Python and/or NodeJS/React
cloud expertise: Familiarity with Azure Cloud, including Azure OpenAI Service and its APIs
basic GenAI knowledge: Understanding of Generative AI and prompt engineering capabilities
mindset: An experimental, pragmatic mindset with a proactive attitude, focusing on moving fast and learning from failures
Bonus Skills:
