The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost control, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting to support project management and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain cost accounting systems for infrastructure projects and operational units. Monitor and track project costs including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads. Perform regular cost variance analysis , identifying reasons for deviations from budgets or estimates. Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and operations to forecast costs and support budgeting processes. Analyze and report on cost structures, cost drivers , and trends affecting project profitability. Prepare and maintain project-wise cost reports , dashboards, and financial summaries. Implement and enforce cost control procedures , ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards. Participate in bid and estimation processes by providing cost inputs and feasibility checks. Assist with inventory valuation, WIP analysis , and reconciliation of cost data with the general ledger. Support internal and external audits with relevant cost documentation and analysis. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CMA, CA-Inter, or CPA qualification preferred. Relevant experience in cost accounting within infrastructure, construction, EPC, or manufacturing sectors. Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with project-based accounting, capital expenditure tracking , and regulatory compliance. Desirable Attributes: Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or capital-intensive projects . Understanding of contract costing, BOQs, and rate analysis . Conduct in house meeting with the HoDs at site on regular interval and get the update on the progress of the Project and act accordingly with respect to manpower mobilization, demobilization, progress report and all administrative development. 9. Co ordinate with HO HR for all site related activities recruitment, training program, employee engagement initiatives etc. Plan and Organize sports, picnic and site events at regular intervals.
