Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bakery Trainer (Academics) to join their faculty

team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality bakery and

pastry training sessions, ensuring students acquire the technical skills and theoretical

knowledge required in the professional kitchen. Strong communication skills, classroom

management, and a positive teaching attitude are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct theoretical and practical classes for bakery and patisserie diploma and

certificate programs.

• Demonstrate recipes and techniques while maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality

standards in the training kitchen.

• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessments in coordination with the

Academic Head.

• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them

improve.

• Assist in organizing internal assessments, exams, and student events such as bake

sales and demonstrations.

• Ensure all equipment and ingredients are prepared and available for scheduled

classes.

• Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and innovations in bakery and

patisserie.

• Represent them professionally during workshops, guest sessions, and events.
• Develop and prepare and assist in production of bakery goods

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Bakery, Patisserie, or Culinary Arts from a recognized

institution.

• Minimum 1 year of teaching or industry experience in bakery/pastry.
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring bakers and pastry chefs.
• Ability to maintain discipline, enthusiasm, and high standards in class.
• Knowledge of bakery production, kitchen management, and recipe costing will be an

advantage.
