Backend SDE-2 (NodeJs)

As a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) specializing in Node.js and Golang, you will play a crucial role in our backend engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services. Working alongside senior engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the creation of modern backend systems leveraging technologies like Node.js, Golang, MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in backend development to enhance their technical expertise, assume greater responsibilities, and make significant contributions to impactful projects within a collaborative and dynamic work environment. To be considered for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and have at least 3-6 years of professional experience in backend software development. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js is essential, while familiarity with NestJS would be advantageous. An understanding of Golang or a willingness to learn it is expected, along with hands-on experience in working with databases like MongoDB, Redis, and event streaming platforms such as Kafka. Moreover, your expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful API design, Docker, CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure will be highly valued. Knowledge of monitoring and performance tools like Datadog will be considered a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities, a strong desire to learn and grow, and effective communication and collaboration skills are also essential attributes for this role.
