Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
Develop and optimize
serverless functions
including AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
Lead and execute
code migration
from AWS Lambda to Azure Functions.
Integrate and manage
NoSQL databases
(e.g., DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, MongoDB), including read/write operations and performance tuning.
Implement secure Authentication and Authorization mechanisms using
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
.
Work with
Azure API Management Services (APIM)
to manage, secure, and scale APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure cloud application best practices in performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and maintain coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum
5 years of experience
in Python backend development.
Strong proficiency in
Python frameworks
(Flask, FastAPI, Djangoany one preferred).
Extensive experience in building and consuming
REST APIs
.
Hands-on experience with
AWS Lambda
and
Azure Functions
.
Proven experience with
code migration
from AWS Lambda to Azure Functions.
Solid understanding of
NoSQL databases
and ability to write/read database operations.
Experience implementing
OAuth2, JWT
, and Azure AD-based authentication/authorization.
Familiarity with
Azure API Management Services (APIM)
.
Strong understanding of cloud concepts, serverless architecture, and microservices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps practices.
