Backend Engineer Python & DevOps

As a Backend Engineer specializing in Python & DevOps, you will play a crucial role in managing the release pipeline and supporting the development and content teams in creating and publishing content on high-traffic websites. Your responsibilities will go beyond scripting to involve development tasks, making effective communication skills and the ability to handle unexpected scenarios essential. Key Responsibilities: - Strong programming skills in Python, focusing on real development rather than just scripting. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. - Proficiency in Git and source control workflows. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, with optional exposure to Groovy or Go. - Understanding of web application servers and deployment processes. - Good grasp of DevOps principles, cloud environments, and automation. Good to Have: - Previous exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack. - Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible. - Experience in optimizing performance and scaling backend systems. Qualification Required: - B.Tech / M.Tech degree is preferred for this role. In this position of Backend Engineer specializing in Python & DevOps, you will be designated as a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years of experience and be an immediate joiner with a notice period of up to 30 days at max.
