Backend Engineer - Cloud/Microservices

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leveraging your strong experience with Python, Java, or Go and solid understanding of Restful APIs, gRPC, and GraphQL to work on cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will also be familiar with cloud native technologies like API Gateways, Service Mesh, and Serverless components. Additionally, your expertise in databases, IAC tools like Cloudformation and Terraform, and CI/CD systems like Jenkins, GitOps, Chef, or Ansible will be crucial for this role. Your problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills will be essential to support users of applications and build scalable microservices both on the cloud and on-premises. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your experience in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. to understand use cases and requirements with team leads - Build proof-of-concepts to validate proposed designs and provide feedback - Deploy, manage, and support scalable microservices on the cloud and on-premises - Support users of the applications Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, OR PhD in related field - 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language - Education requirements: B.E/M.E Additional Details: Qualcomm is committed to providing an accessible process for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
