Role Overview

2nd Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend systems for robotics perception and SLAM pipelines.
• Implement and maintain

  real-time SLAM, mapping, and localization algorithms

  .
• Integrate robotics perception with cloud-based data pipelines and AI/LLM modules.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to deploy, monitor, and improve models.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, setting coding standards and best practices.
• Ensure robust, scalable, and efficient system architecture.

Requirements

• Strong experience with

  SLAM, robotics, and computer vision

  (ROS experience highly preferred).
• Proficiency in

  C++, Python, or Java

  for robotics/back-end development.
• Familiarity with

  robotic perception stacks

  , sensor fusion, and real-time systems.
• Experience with

  backend system design

  , API development, and cloud integration.
• Knowledge of

  Docker, Kubernetes, or MLOps pipelines

  is a plus.
• Ability to

  lead engineering teams

  , review code, and mentor developers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a

  fast-paced, innovative environment

  .

• Experience with
