Backend Django Developer

As a Django Developer at Presage Insights Pvt Ltd in Noida, you will be responsible for developing high-performance and scalable APIs for IoT and real-time data applications. Your role will involve optimizing APIs, managing PostgreSQL performance, implementing background task processing, and improving system scalability for real-time applications. Additionally, you will collaborate with DevOps and Data Engineers to ensure high system performance and availability. - Develop and optimize scalable APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF) for handling large-scale IoT sensor data. - Optimize PostgreSQL performance by implementing indexing, partitioning, and TimescaleDB for efficient time-series data retrieval. - Implement and manage Celery and Redis for background task processing and distributed workloads. - Improve API response times and system scalability for real-time applications. - Integrate and manage MQTT-based real-time sensor data ingestion pipelines. - Develop new API features with a focus on security, robustness, and efficiency. - Collaborate with DevOps and Data Engineers to ensure high system performance and availability. - 3+ years of experience with Django, PostgreSQL, and high-throughput APIs. - Expertise in time-series data optimization including indexing, partitioning, and TimescaleDB. - Hands-on experience with Celery, Redis, and AWS services. - Strong understanding of MQTT protocol and IoT data ingestion. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Django. - Passion for scalable, high-performance backend systems in IoT and real-time data environments.,
