Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer at Vecmocon, an IIT Delhi-incubated deep-tech EV startup, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of the cloud side of the IoT platform. Your expertise in Node.JS will be utilized to visualize and analyze large scale IoT data collected from IoT devices. You will be responsible for designing efficient and scalable backend services while ensuring secure data handling for user authentication, device data, and configurations. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements, automating data representation processes, and developing backend APIs and workflows for end-to-end deployment and maintenance of devices in the field. Proficiency in relational databases like postgres, mysql, mssql, or oracle, as well as knowledge of NoSQL databases and message queues like MQTT, will be essential for this role. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a top-tier institute or possess equivalent practical experience. Strong knowledge of Java, the Spring Boot framework, or Node.JS, along with experience in REST API design and implementation, is required. Additionally, familiarity with MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres, MSQL, or Oracle, API design principles, and Microservices architecture, especially Realtime and Event-Driven, will be beneficial.
