Backend Developer

As a Java Developer with 5 to 6 years of experience in server-side application development, your role will involve working with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices technologies. You should possess strong Object-Oriented Programming concepts and problem-solving skills. Your proficiency in server-side technologies such as Java 8+, Linux, and J2EE will be crucial. Expertise in the Spring Boot framework and experience with microservice architecture will be required for this role. Additionally, a good understanding of SQL (RDBMS) and NoSQL (Redis/Aerospike) data stores is necessary. Hands-on experience with Kafka and related streaming services is also desired. You should have a fair understanding of High-Level Designs and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while managing time efficiently across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with software quality standards. - Write efficient code based on briefs provided by the team lead. - Quickly prototype proof-of-concept features or applications. - Develop and maintain new features using the Java stack. - Take ownership of delivering specific system or application components. - Work closely with peers and leads to devise the best technical designs for new product development. - Follow build, release, and configuration management processes. - Develop unit test cases for assigned project modules. - Support testing and deployment of new products and features.
