Backend Developer (Python)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy new features and APIs using Python (preferably FastAPI).
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and platform/system engineering (PSE) teams to gather requirements and integrate new functionalities.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues, and ensure effective monitoring using tools like

  New Relic

  ,

  Jaeger

  , or equivalent.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using

  Jenkins

  and containerized environments with

  Docker

  .
• Write and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational and development tasks.
• Build and manage data workflows and integration pipelines using

  Kafka

  Redis

  , and

  Hive

  .
• Perform unit and integration testing; ensure code quality and performance.
• Use

  Postman

  and similar tools for API testing and validation.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in

  , with hands-on experience in

  FastAPI

  or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of

  SQL

  and experience with relational databases.
• Experience in containerization using

  Docker

• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD using

• Familiarity with

• Proficient in building and consuming

  RESTful APIs
