Backend Developer - PHP

As a Web Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reusable microservices. - Integrating third-party services and APIs for reliable communication between microservices. - Creating and maintaining RESTful APIs to power internal and external applications. - Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - Optimizing existing systems and services for performance and scalability. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. - Performing code reviews and participating in architectural discussions to ensure high code quality. - Ensuring security and data protection best practices in all development phases. - Debugging and troubleshooting issues across the stack to improve overall application quality and performance. Key Skills required for this role include: - Strong experience with PHP and the Laravel Framework. - Proficiency in building and maintaining microservices architecture. - Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. - Experience with MySQL or other relational databases. - Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus. - Experience with Git and version control workflows. - Knowledge of Docker and containerization. - Familiarity with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka is a plus. - Experience in testing (unit testing, integration testing) and debugging. - Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
