Backend Developer (Node JS)

You should have an in-depth understanding of the entire web development process including design, development, and deployment. Hands-on experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript, along with familiarity with tools like Docker and Git is required. Working knowledge of NodeJS backend frameworks like Express and NestJS is a must. Additionally, you should be familiar with front-end languages like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and have a good to excellent understanding of NoSQL and SQL databases. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining clean code for functional backend applications, ensuring quality and reliability even in high-stress scenarios. You will need to ensure that API integration and front-end logic meet expectations through rigorous testing, and take ownership of QA responsibilities for overall application excellence, including writing E2E tests and performing manual testing. Troubleshooting and debugging applications with accountability and collaboration will be key, utilizing documentation and knowledge sharing to prevent future issues. You will also be expected to craft reusable code for future efficiency, minimizing effort for subsequent implementations. This position is based in Pune/Kolkata and offers a hybrid work mode.
