Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer with 4-5 years of experience, you will be an integral part of our growing development team in Kochi. Your primary responsibility will be to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using your expertise in Python, Django, and PostgreSQL. You will focus on developing RESTful APIs and ensuring clean software architecture. Your main responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Python and Django. You will develop RESTful APIs to support frontend and mobile applications, as well as manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance, reliability, and scalability. It will be essential to follow best practices in object-oriented programming (OOP) and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as frontend developers, QA, and product managers. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to improving internal development processes, write clean, testable, and well-documented code, and troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs. Your technical knowledge should include expertise in backend technologies like Python, Django, PostgreSQL, RESTful Web Services APIs, and OOP. You should have at least 3 years of experience in developing web applications and integrating microservices into consumer web applications. Experience in Python/Django code-based production, extensive testing, and e-commerce development will be beneficial. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be responsible, personable, and well-organized, and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Technical problem-solving ability, analytical skills, time and stress management, and teamwork compatibility are crucial. The ideal candidate should have a B. Tech/MCA qualification.,
