Qualified candidates will be responsible for: - Developing and maintaining automation of software solutions in VMware environments. - Writing and executing unit, functional, and integration testcases. - Support integrating enterprise-grade complex VMware cloud environments. - Following compliant procedures and secure engineering best practices. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise 5-7 years of experience with Python, system automation, scripting, and development Postgres/anyRDBMSand Cloudant databases software engineering and testing 3-5 years of experience with Linux system administration or development Good communication skills in English Preferred technical and professional experience 5+ years of experience with RESTful APIs Experience with GitHub issue and code management, Ansible, VMware administration, VMware API integration development, vRealize Operations/LogInsights 3+ years of experience with Cloud networking, including VMware NSX andIBM Cloud API integration development ,Windows Active Directory administration or development Windows SQL server administration or development Jenkins build and platforms Web UI development Networking, and network security components, firewalls, gateways Secure engineering principles and best practices Security standards, authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols
