Backend Developer -Django

1. Django Developer (Backend)Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade our complex, production-grade backend built on Django and Django REST Framework
• Manage and curate metadata and database records for movies, shows, music, and live content
• Integrate and support services including Msg91 (OTP), Bunny Stream (content delivery), Razor pay, and Revenue Cat/Play Store/App Store subscriptions
• Ensure backend performance, security, and scalability across AWS-deployed infrastructure
• Collaborate with the Flutter frontend team to expose APIs and coordinate development cycles
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and bugs reported from production

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Django experience, particularly with Django REST Framework
• Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and ORM practices
• Experience with third-party integrations such as payment gateways, OTP systems, and storage/CDN platforms
• Familiarity with cloud services (preferably AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Proven ability to work on and improve complex, production-level codebases
• Solid understanding of performance optimization and security standards
