Description
1. Core Development Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript . Build RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints. Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices. 2. Database Management Design and optimize relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) database schemas. Write and optimize database queries. Manage migrations and data integrity. 3. API Integration & Microservices Develop and integrate internal and third-party APIs. Implement and manage microservices architecture when required. Ensure secure data transmission and handle authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2). 4. Testing & Debugging Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, Mocha, etc.). Conduct debugging, profiling, and performance tuning. Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments. 5. Security & Compliance Implement backend security best practices (input validation, data sanitization, rate limiting). Ensure data protection and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) if applicable. 6. Deployment Collaborate with Clouds for deployment using tools like cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) Monitor system performance, uptime, and logs (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). 7. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers. Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Document APIs, architecture decisions, and backend logic. 8. Code Quality & Standards Follow TypeScript typing standards for safety and maintainability. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to team conventions and style guides.
