Job Description: Backend Developer (Node.js)
Responsibilities:
· Develop, test, and maintain backend code using Node.js
· Design and build RESTful APIs and integrations with external systems
· Optimize application performance and scalability
· Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products
· Implement security best practices in backend development
· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
· Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
Required Skills and Experience:
· Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+)
· Experience with frameworks - Express.js
· Proficiency in working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
· Experience with API design development and Documentations
· Familiarity with Azure Storage, S3 and containerized application deployment
· Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
· Version control using Git
· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
