Your primary responsibility as a Back-End Developer at CEVA is to serve as the foundation of our platform by creating lightning-fast, secure, and scalable server-side systems that materialize our digital banking vision. This entails designing robust systems, developing efficient APIs and back-end logic, and working closely with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integrations. You will also be tasked with designing databases and storage solutions that can accommodate growth effortlessly and contributing to the development of new features, performance enhancements, and modern architectural patterns. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong command of back-end development and software engineering principles, a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and scalable architecture design, and proficiency in languages such as Java, Node.js, and Python. Additionally, experience with tools like JUnit, Cucumber, WireMock for automated testing, cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and databases (SQL & NoSQL) is essential. Problem-solving skills, a penchant for writing clean and maintainable code, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are also crucial. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
