As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining REST API services using technologies such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, and data stores to facilitate user interaction with large volume datasets. Your role will involve building highly scalable, low latency, fault-tolerant, and high-performance architecture solutions for customer-facing web and mobile applications. You will actively participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) phases, including sprint planning, estimating, design, development, testing, and deployment within an Agile development environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Strong proficiency in Java, and J2EE Development. - Proficiency in microservices development using Spring Batch. - Knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Spring JPA with Hibernate, JSON, and XML. - Strong expertise in SQL (Oracle, Postgres). - Additional preferred Skills include Docker and Kubernetes. **Qualifications Required:** - Ability to handle technical tasks independently. - Effective management of work to meet deadlines and technical specifications. - Ensuring that requirements are adequately defined. - Collaboration with onsite development team and Business Analysts. In your role, you will be expected to provide effective solutions to technical problems and challenges. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of Customer Experience and identify areas of improvement.
