Azure Platform Engineer

As an Azure Platform Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, monitor, build, and automate pipelines within the Azure ecosystem. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert in Azure, collaborating closely with Software Engineering teams to optimize efficiency and utilization of shared resources. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing platform services utilizing container orchestration technologies and CI/CD automation, developing data engineering pipelines using native Azure tools, managing data storage services, implementing transformation logic while meeting security requirements, and operationalizing large-scale enterprise data solutions leveraging Azure data and analytics services. Additionally, you will be integrating structured and unstructured data into analytics-ready formats, building Infrastructure as Code scripts using various technologies such as Bash, JSON, YAML, Terraform, or CloudFormation, and utilizing enterprise tools for infrastructure as code, cloud operations, monitoring, and alerting. To excel in this role, you should possess over 10 years of experience in Azure cloud development and architecture, a strong background in designing cloud solutions in enterprise environments, hands-on experience managing Azure services like App Gateway, Functions, Key Vault, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), familiarity with integrations involving Power Apps and Power BI, proficiency in building and maintaining Terraform templates and service deployments, excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.
