Role: Azure Engineer Experience Level: Mid-Level/Senior Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Engineer to support and optimize our cloud infrastructure. This role requires hands-on experience with Azure services, a strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and a deep understanding of core Azure fundamentals including storage, networking, and identity and access management (IAM). Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Automation Develop, manage, and maintain IAC solutions using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Integrate IAC with CI/CD pipelines for streamlined and consistent deployments. Implement automated provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure. Maintain version control and documentation of IAC templates. Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Design, deploy, and support Azure resources including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and other PaaS/SaaS solutions. Monitor resource performance, implement cost optimization strategies, and ensure system availability. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and support cross-functional project teams. Azure Fundamentals Configure and manage Azure storage accounts, containers, and lifecycle policies. Design and manage networking components including VNETs, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and Load Balancers. Implement and maintain IAM policies using Azure AD, RBAC, and managed identities. Enforce cloud governance using Azure Policies and security best practices. Required Skills & Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services. Experience with IAC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM). Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python). Solid understanding of Azure networking, storage, and IAM. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400). Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Exposure to containerization (Docker, AKS) and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
