Azure + Databricks - Associate 2

Role Overview: At PwC, as a data and analytics engineering professional, you will leverage advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients. Your primary role will involve transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making, and driving business growth. In the field of data engineering at PwC, your focus will be on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis. You will be tasked with the development and implementation of data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 2+ years of experience working in Azure ADLS, Databricks, Azure Data factory, SQL, Data Flows, Snowflake - Demonstrate awareness of Data Management concepts and Data Modelling - Exhibit good knowledge of Big Data frameworks and related technologies, with mandatory experience in Spark - Showcase expertise in extracting data from various source systems including flat files, XML sources, JSON, Parquet files, Big data appliances, RDBMS, etc. - Clearly understand the Data Warehouse lifecycle and have contributed to preparing Detailed Level Design documents, Unit Test plans, and Code review reports - Strong proficiency in SQL, including understanding joins, groups, functions, and Stored procedures - Experience in creating Unit and Integration Test plans and verifying their execution - Proficient in generating documentation related to Project Architecture, Project end User Manual, and Operations Handoff guide - Possess a good understanding of Data Migration and integration processes, methods, and project lifecycle - Display strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Well-versed with quality processes and their implementation - Excellent communication skills - Thorough understanding of Cloud data migration processes, methods, and project lifecycle - Good knowledge of Application DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD Frameworks) with experience in Jenkins or Gitlab and rich experience in source code management like Code Pipeline, Code Build, and Code Commit Qualifications Required: - Certifications in Azure / Databricks are desirable - Experience in building stream-processing systems using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming is a plus - Familiarity with Azure functions, Logi Apps, Microsoft Purview, and Cosmos DB - Knowledge in Python Professional And Educational Background: - BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / M.E / M.Tech / MBA Please note that you may be required to travel to client locations as per project requirements.
