Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Design and Development:

  Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and solutions using Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, or other relevant Azure data services.

• Performance Optimization:

  Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of database systems through continuous monitoring, tuning, and optimization.

• ETL and Data Integration:

  Develop and maintain data integration and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT) using tools like Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Analytics. James and Sean please confirm

• Security and Compliance:

  Implement and manage data security best practices, including access control (RBAC), encryption, and compliance with data privacy standards.

• AI/ML Integration (if applicable to WTI technology):

  Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate database solutions with AI/ML models, potentially using Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, or specific proprietary tools (e.g., "WTI AI technology").

• Troubleshooting and Support:

  Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to ensure seamless operations and data integrity.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business stakeholders, to translate business requirements into technical database solutions.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all database designs, processes, and configurations.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:

  Proven experience as a Database Developer with specific expertise in Microsoft Azure database services.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and T-SQL programming; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage).
• Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of automation/scripting (PowerShell, Python) is beneficial.

• Specific "WTI AI technology" experience is likely required if it is a core component of the role.

• Soft Skills:

  Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but valued):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (if AI integration is key)
