Job Description

Hello, We are looking for Database Administrator to work with one of the Fortune - 500 American Multinational product based company based at Bangalore. Bachelors degree incomputer science, Information Science Or equivalent experience working in a Database/Business intelligence environment. 6+ years of experience working with 2012 and newer SQL Server and related technologies such as Power BI, ETL tools etc. experience working in Azure Paas or similar cloud-based DB environment. Experience in script creation, designing, developing, and testing database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, constraints etc.) Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, indexing, disaster recovery. Strong scripting and automation skills PowerShell, Python etc. T-SQL script optimization, database tuning, and backup/restore functions. Ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to peers, managers, and business Understanding and experience of data warehouse principals Knowledge of Database High Availability solutions Clustering, Always On etc. Experience with Cloud Databases and BI technologies in Azure Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra Excellent verbal and written communication skills, stays technically updated with latest industry trends.
