Azure Data Architect

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and robust data solutions using Microsoft Azure. Your expertise in cloud data architecture, data engineering, and data governance will be crucial in leading the end-to-end Azure-based data architecture for enterprise-scale applications and analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Design end-to-end Azure-based data architecture for enterprise-scale applications and analytics platforms. - Lead data platform strategy, including data lake, data warehouse, and real-time processing solutions. - Define best practices for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption using Azure services. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical data requirements. - Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks. - Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance standards. - Develop and maintain data models and metadata management solutions. - Work with DevOps teams to automate deployments and monitor data infrastructure performance. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles. - 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure. - Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, Blob Storage, Power BI, etc. - Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical models) and data warehouse/lakehouse architecture. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Spark for data processing. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM/Bicep/Terraform), and Git. - Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and security practices. - Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
