Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Lead the assessment and planning phases of Azure migration projects.
• Utilize

  Azure Migrate

  tools and services to assess on-premises workloads for migration.
• Identify and recommend Azure services and resources suitable for the

  migration

• Develop comprehensive

  migration strategies

  tailored to specific projects and workloads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define migration goals, timelines, and success criteria.
• Ensure minimal downtime and disruptions during the migration process.
• Execute

  migration plans

  for on-premises applications and data to Azure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues and challenges.
• Optimize resource allocation, cost-effectiveness, and performance during migrations.
• Plan and execute migrations of domain controllers to Azure Active Directory.
• Ensure seamless authentication and access control during the migration.
• Address any security and compliance concerns related to domain controller migration.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Azure services, networking, and security.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions to ensure project success.
• Stay up-to-date with Azure and migration best practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of migration plans, procedures, and outcomes.
• Generate regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders.
• Conduct post-migration assessments and document lessons learned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as Azure Cloud Architect with a focus on Azure migration projects.
• Azure certifications (e. g., AZ-305) is desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and migration methodologies.
• Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure and domain controller systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
